The Tourist Attractions of Burgas:

Burgas is a relatively compact city as its growth has been confined by the water that surrounds the city. It sits at the western tip of the Black Sea, on the Bay of Burgas, as well as being surrounded by the three Burgas Lakes. This not only gives Burgas a scenic setting, but means tourists can enjoy the water and what the city itself has to offer.

Burgas Bay

If you’d like to enjoy Bulgaria’s Black Sea Coast then the Bay of Burgas is a good place to do so. This is the largest bay on Bulgaria’s coast of the Black Sea, and one of the largest on the Black Sea in all. Although Burgas is a major port city there are also districts where luxury hotels have been built for the many tourists attracted to the area, and these line the Bay, giving access to great sea views, and the sea itself for swimming and other water based activities.

Main Sights of Burgas

Burgas is a nice city for enjoying the shops and streets, and there are a couple of landmarks to look out for while you’re wandering around. The fountains and numerous pedestrian streets all add to the pleasant ambiance of Burgas.

The Sea Garden is a popular place to walk. It begins at the bus and train station and runs all the way to the bay where there is a beach and great views out. You’ll also find Mosta, a pier, here, and you can walk along this enjoying the views too.
