The Tourist Attractions of Ettelbruck:

Ettelbruck is a pleasant city not brimming with tourist attractions but offering a small selection of things to see. If you combine a visit to Ettelbruck with a visit to the country’s capital, Luxembourg City, you would have enough to keep you occupied for several days at least, depending on how much time you wanted to spend at each attraction.

The Three Rivers
As the meeting point of three rivers it made sense for Ettelbruck to become an important town, and historically it always has been. The rivers meant that transport links were excellent from here, connecting the commune with the rest of Luxembourg and ultimately with much of Europe. Today the rivers provide attractive scenery and the opportunity for recreation. You could follow the Alzette into Luxembourg City and enjoy walks along the banks of all three rivers in the Ettelbruck area.

This scenic region of forests and hills covers 11,200 square kilometres within Luxembourg and Belgium and is a beautiful place where you can enjoy many miles of hiking trails.

Bicycle Trails

Ettelbruck City Centre
In the city centre Ettelbruck also has some attractive features. Buildings such as the Ettelbruck Town Hall present charming architecture, and plans are underway to provide a pedestrian only zone within the city centre to make it more pleasant for locals and tourists to wander around.

Ettelbruck is home to many fairs throughout the year so check the calendar to see what’s on while you’re visiting.
