LIFT, South Africa’s youngest airline, started in December 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Air Canada is 70 years old today and is Canada’s largest passenger service airline. It transports about 32 million passengers annually to 170 destinations across the five continents. The airline also ranks number 14 amongst the airlines across the globe.

LIFT currently operates on South Africa’s busiest routes:

• Johannesburg
• Cape Town
• Durban

FLEET

LIFT uses 4th Generation Airbus A320 Aircraft, which offers a wider Cabin for a better flying experience. The fleets are maintained in accordance with Airbus’ Stringent Fleet Management Program.

All LIFT Aircraft are fitted with LED Mood lighting, which ensures a pleasant flying experience — with leather seats, large tray tables, and generous legroom of up to 37″ in LIFT Premium‚ 33″ in LIFT Economy.

Regarding in-flight catering, they have partnered with Vida e Caffe for the best coffee at 30‚000ft. Plus, they also got Pick ‘n Pay Smart Shopper on board, earning you three times your points when you fly!
